Title : ETL with Hyperion Location : Hartford, CT Duration : 6 months Position General Purpose Develop, implement and maintain Oracle relational database, client/server systems to support University Financial Planning, Analysis and Data Warehouse systems Essential Duties · Responsible for maintaining, modifying and enhancing the University’s Financial Data Warehouse and supporting applications. · Responsible for application development including: analysis, specifications, design, programming, testing, and documentation with excellent troubleshooting resolution skills. · Conducts unit testing activities · Documents complex ETL technical design · Supports complex ETL processes and operations by identifying, researching, and resolving performance and production issues, with a greater emphasis utilizing PL/SQL · Coordinate the development programs or systems of moderate to large size. · Create the necessary documentation to promote programs/reports to production systems. · Perform detailed system analysis and design functions, including the development of data flows, system development specifications and documentation. · Provide leadership when addressing high level technical issues and questions with the functionality of the reporting and business intelligence applications. · Work with the software application vendors (e.g. Oracle, Informatica) to resolve issues. · Utilize professional code of ethics regarding confidentiality of information and protecting rights of end-users and owners of data. · As an IT support organization there is rotating support for our nightly ETL load and occasional weekend support required. Education and Experience · Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Information Systems and five years of programming experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience · At least five years in design, development and support of large complex business and administrative systems using Informatica, SQL and SQL based tools · Strong experience developing applications with Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica and Hyperion Business Intelligence tools such as Interactive Reporting (Brio) · PL/SQL is an essential skill · Informatica is a desirable skill · Strong experience with Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems Additional Education and Experience · Preferred: knowledge of Unix shell scripting, Data Warehousing, Subversion, Autosys, reporting tools, BI tools (such as Essbase), Oracle eBusiness Suite for Financials, HR and Procurement and an ability to understand financial and business processes Skills & Abilities · Understands relational and multi-dimensional data modeling · Knowledge of Data Mapping, Data Staging, Data Warehouse Design and Data Mart Design · Acts as a senior ETL representatives on BI COE projects and will be responsible for training/mentoring the Production Support team · Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and planning skills · Excellent problem solving skills critical · Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently but as a member of a team · Excellent understanding of financial and business processes · Must be able to learn to use new tools and technologies quickly and independently · Must be able to develop solutions independently with no technical oversight · Ability to work with a diverse group · Self-motivated and organized with a well-developed sense of time, projects, and priorities management. · Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. *Thanks and Regards Kalyan ST Tech Inc 4030 Wake Forest Rd Raleigh NC 27609 972.318.7848 Phone 919-573-0429 Fax kal...@sttechinc.com www.sttechinc.com * -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
