Hi, Client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer – San Francisco, California. This is a contract position. The Hourly rate DOE. Job Responsibilities: The Senior Network Engineer will work within the structure of our global delivery model to assist senior design engineers in the implementation of both WAN and LAN networks that impacts the network. Supporting a state-of-the-art, carrier class MPLS network, this role is fast paced and extremely demanding. This person will technically lead projects and engage with management in technical assessments and critical troubleshooting. This person conducts feasibility studies on strategic and tactical plans, designs digital/analog networks, and evaluates network services/technology for current and future network development. This person plans, designs, and implements networked systems, including configurations, supporting/troubleshooting network problems and coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as routers, bridges, concentrators and switches. The Sr. Network Engineer conducts analysis, prepares reports, and works on project implementation. The Sr. Network Engineer is a direct report to the Network Manager. Desired Skills: Must have skills in designing and implementation and managing MPLS / LAN based configuration of internal LAN based VRF and mapping them to the VLAN for tagging Managing F5-Big IP Load Balancer that includes Software upgrades and Configuration according to web team's request whether it is to install SSL Certificate or normal HTTP sites Project Management and understanding of deliverables and meeting project deadlines and milestones Experience in providing IT service to an account/customer with focus and understand the importance of operational support Required Skills: 6-10 years of experience in an enterprise networking environment including at least 300 network nodes, 500 servers, and multiple data centers.
