Rate is Open *Job Description* The Senior Technical Team Lead (70%) /PM (30%) for the DW reporting development team will lead the team in performance and completion of the following Tasks: • Design, develop, and deploy ETL jobs using Business Objects Data Services / Data Integrator 12.3 to populate an Oracle 10g database in the client’s Data Warehouse with data from SAP and other data sources. Design, develop, and deploy Business Objects 6.x and XI 3.x universes and reports that will allow for operational and tactical analytical reporting of purchasing, production scheduling, and forecasting business processes. • Participation in a larger team focused on extending the existing SAP order to case solution into the manufacturing and related business processes for one of their North American plants. • Work with subject matter experts from business units as well as IT to create proper data models, ensure proper data representation and robust reporting requirements. • Apply advanced skills in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting Business Objects projects ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget. • Provide instruction, direction, and mentoring to other DW reporting development team members. *Must Have Experience* The Candidate must have 5-8 Years experience in the following: • Proven Track record of successful Team Leadership and project completions. • leading the creation and delivery of Business Objects universes , reporting and overall Business Objects implementation • Must have hands on experience and proven Competency in all major aspects of a business objects Administration versions 6.x and XI.x • Must Have hands on experience in the full lifecycle implementations of data warehouse tools including ETL, database, and reporting • Prior experience leading Data Warehousing team • Business Objects- including universe design and reporting from multiple data sources and multiple universes. • Data Warehousing Architecture and Design Concepts. • Business Objects, at least 3 years of XI involving the design of complex solutions. The Candidate must have 3-6 Years experience in the following: • Experience using Business Objects Data Services/Data Integrator ETL tools • Strong Data Modeling experience including dimensional model • Experience with Oracle databases including PL/SQL and SQL • Knowledge and experience with Data Warehousing concepts and methodologies • BO Data Services/Data Integrator including v12 • A strong working knowledge of PL/SQL, and experience with Oracle 10g • Previous experience developing DW reporting for manufacturing and related business processes • Previous DW experience with SAP data sources, particularly one or more of the PP, MM, WM, FI/CO and SD module, with exposure to COPA and logistics especially helpful. *Critical Interpersonal experience:* • Candidates must possess proven ability to interview process and functional experts, document business requirements, demonstrate functional and technical design, configure the system, and develop tests, train end users, and trouble shoot. • A clear track record of Team leadership skills Is critical *Travel Requirements:* • Candidate needs to be able to travel between the US (Project Location: Farmington, CT) and other travel US travel destinations including Indianapolis and Texas.
