guess it would be the appropriate place to log that.

i noticed that the latest release of the ovs library on pypi is for
2.17.1 [1]. Would it be possible to pushlish newer versions of the ovs
python lib there as well, or are there reasons speaking against that?

for us these lost packets do not happen during normal operations and are
always a sign of trouble.
We have hit them a few when we received a large amount of packets that

the excessive monitor_cond_change cpu usage of ovn-controller in larger
deployments is quite common.
You can try to set `external_ids:ovn-monitor-all` to true on all (or the
most affecting) ovn-controller nodes.

1) yes. For us it was worth the tradeof
1a) not unless you are heavily bandwidth restricted
2) relays are great, but we run with relays and with monitor-all=True as
this gave us the best stability so far
