Hello,
we downloaded owfs-2.2.p1 and have a problem with DS2450-devices (adc). After
mounting owfs the DS2450 devices are recognized, but after an access to the
files volt and volt2 we got "no such file or directory".
We use kernel version 2,6.15.4 and fuse 2.4.0. With an actual CVS-version we h

Could it caused by the DS2409?
The full path of the DS2408 alarm directory is:
/mnt/owfs/1F.8D570200/main/alarm/29.B16D
In this directory, I can access

I checked out the latest cvs, but it doesn't compile:
owfs.o: In function
`ow_exit':/data/owfs/cvs/owfs/module/owfs/sr
Brown bag error.
CRC16 check gives an error after a minor change.

Ok, I will, but after everything I need will works.
Earlier, you sent a shell script to test the latch of a DS2408.
I can't "cat" the latch, for some reason. The error message (in Frenc

System speed is saved and restored, but not used.
It is set in modules/owlib/src/c/ow_9097U.c function DS2480_detect.
I think there may some issues with switching speed back and forth when doing a
1-wire discovery (directory search) because of buffer overrun, but this was just

What's the default speed? Is it 9600 bauds? Does it depends on the speed se
It is not clear that increasing the serial port speed helps (the 1-wire limits
total transmission speed). Still, we could put in a tunable parameter in
/settings.

Hello,
first of all I apologize for breaking the thread but I just subscribed because
of the recent discussion about kernel w1 adapter support.
As I understand you were looking for beta testers and their specific setup

will have a prototype interface available for testing soon.
Cheers
