That would quite an omission! Fortunately "get" does both. If the argument is a directory, it functions like "dir". If the path is a single item, it functions like "read". owperl has the full OWFS library linked in, so it can disambiguate the argument, unlike the lighter-weight OWNet.pm. Paul A
