Thanks for looking Jan. The only other usb messages were the startup messages associated with the linkUSB and the wifi adaptor (which continued to work normally) which were from several days earlier when it was last rebooted. Those for the linkUSB are Feb 27 16:00:44 pi004 kernel: [3.883218] u
