I've a DS2480B based 1-wire interface on /dev/ttyS0 that steals the
power from DTR and RTS RS-232c signals (similar to the DS9097U 9-pin
interface).
The interface is since many years perfectly working with
applications written using the Dallas SDK (a library of high level C
functions).
