As usual, I apologize in advance for posting hardware issues on the
software/drivers mailing list, but I'm out of ideas.
I have a DS2760 and I'm trying to use the I/O pin to drive a load. I have
a 1k pullup resistor to +5V, to pull the I/O pin high, and the node
attaches to the gate of a pmos fet
I'm sorry to keep asking hardware questions on the owfs-software-dev list,
but I don't know where else to ask these things.
Why do all (that I've found) light-measuring circuits based on the DS2438
use reverse-biased photodiodes, rather than, say, a photoresistor? Either
way you could have a fixe

So far, I've had a lot of success using 1wire stuff: I have a 2408 running
some relays, am doing a bunch of stuff with temp sensors, and now I'm
trying to get a 2760 to detect temps in a furnace. The thing is: when I
ask for temperatures on the thermocouple I get reasonable answers, but
when I que

I've only been playing with owfs for about two days: I hadn't yet found
'uncached' in the docume
I've done some searching on google and within this newsgroup itself to try
and answer this question but haven't yet found anything so I figured I'd
ask in the hopes it's an easy answer.
I'm using a DS18S20 and a parallel-port-driven relay to model a furnace
control system: the DS is taped to a lig
