When installing owfs-2.8p1 under slackware 13.1 I found a couple of problems and offer the following work-arounds.
'make' failed with message 'no rule to make Config.pm'. The fix was to cd to directory module/ownet/perl5/OWNet and type perl Makefile.PL rerunning make on the whole of owfs then worked. Also 'make install' failed because I did not have 'ed' installed.
