In oc_preferences you have the quota per user.

No, not most
many will use it as backup, but just as many users use it as primary

There is no such "all users use the same from the cloud".

The web interface doesn't look to have the ability to list thousands of
users on my owncloud system. So there is no way for me to set custom
disk quotas for users that are not displayed on the web interface. I
have tried the search function on the page but that doesn't work.

Could you show the js console to see the logs?
I had similar trouble after restarting server and refreshing with Ctrl+R
everything was ok.

The Owncloud sync functionality is not a backup solution. If you delete
something accidentally you should be able to restore you data from backups.
In our OC instance I provide hourly incremental backup with "rdiff-backup"
on the server side for each user. If some one deletes or edit something we

Just recently upgraded to 5.0.11 running on CentOS 6. When logged in via
the web interface and moving the cursor over a file or folder and
clicking the "Share" link nothing happens. Has anyone else seen this?
See video of what I'm seeing.

Hi Thomas,
Once you have some code for the plugin, share it with us! I am
interested to check it out (and we can add it to the list of plugins
in the wiki of the app).
I didn't know about Poche, looks interesting..

Hi MJ Ray,
What previous agreements are you referring to?
I see no reference anywhere in the pages you linked that one needs to
be able to file bugs in the forum, or even discuss them there...

Hi,
assuming the sync client works well (it does for me) it only deletes a
file if you deleted it somewhere else. So you have the file either on
another computer or in the ownCloud recycle bin.
I really think that the sync client should not use the systems recycle
bin at all.
Best,

Hi,
interesting thread. The last person in the thread wrote that putting
files in the trash of the server and of the client is not a good idea.
This might be true in most cases. But for me, the client deleted files
before they were synct to the server (client 1.3). These files are gone.

I'm trying to create a plug-in for the News App. It should change the
views and add buttons for sharing an article (like to Poche

should be placed in the bottom-utils section of each item.

Dear Group,
I seems to me that files, deleted by the windows client, do not appear

are copied to? I think moving theses files to the windows recycle bin
would be good for security reasons to avoid data loss. What do you thin

Hello,
one of our scientists tried to sync files with a colon in the filename. This
