Are you finding that users are happy about ising the git version of the
news app? Ive been holding off releasing anything to the markets until the
news app is released.
I think i should probably now implement the read/starred functionality to
keep up ;)

Its arguably not as nice visually as the BB version.

It is currently a wip, and not as refined as the BB10 version. Wheras the
BB10 version uses the Cascades flavour of QML, this ver
check the mail fie for the user who runs the cron job. i set it up to run
as www-data, and found that the cron.lock file was there, and the system
was mailing me about it.
