Have you considered buying the feature?
Once I used http://freedomsponsors.org which is a bit like kick starter but
you pay for a particular issue. My experience with it is 50$ and an issue
was fixed after half a year :)
Sorry for not helping with the bug, but every time when I read users ask
behind the router.
Hope someone is interested in this, at least I am :)

I am learning owncloud and would like to know if there is a way to setup
two instances of own cloud to sync each other in any form?
