Is it not permissible to compile your own app with your own contributions
and sell yourself? If you add some great features to the app and maybe
change the UI a bit you can sell a different version of the app yourself as
long as you make your improvement and code availble to the community for
free.
I agree on mediwiki as being a solution for this. I have been working on a
large scale project I cannot mention but can say, we have used MediWikki for
a solution to a similar problem. There is a lot there.

Uninstall and install freah synck client. Make sure all files get deleted
during install.

This was a clean install of Umbuntu 13.4 and a clean install of Owncloud
using the exact commands as copied and pasted below.
For xUbuntu 13.04 run the following as root:
echo 'deb
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/isv:ownCloud:community/xUbuntu_13.
04/ /' >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/owncl
Tell that to the machine running OC 3 from Umbuntu's package.

Yes I am sure and I have done that check. Also, does the upgrade activate
magic quotes? If it doesn't then why would the error just happen when the
previous install prior to the upgrade wouldn't have run either as it too
doesn't allow it to run.

I had the same issue before. I recreated my password with md5hash in the
database and used that in the config file. Bingo, all works.

a hard restart all is working fine and since my documents were already
