Hi all, as far as I can see there is currently no way for an activated app to register a script to be included in a page rendered using the 'guest' template view. Currently those are login and public pages. Although it is easy to understand why that is I still ask myself if this limitation really is a good idea. In my eyes it limits possible apps. For example I have a concrete problem with the imprint app to displaying a link on the login page, simply because registering a script for that page currently is a question of being *lucky* (really).
ownCloud supports app categories. It is even possible to limit the list of apps loaded at runtime to a certain category: file system. Why not generalize that feature, introduce a well defined list of categories. One entry in the list might be 'guest' again: apps loaded for guest access, which currently simply is not possible. Why not? Any objections? Any opinions? Christian Reiner (arkascha) _______________________________________________ Owncloud mailing list Owncloud@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/owncloud
