Folks, earlier in the year I mentioned in here that Visual Studio 2013 was mysteriously opening with all document windows closed. I tracked it down to having any document open in the XAML designer when VS2013 was previously closed. The problem only happened on my work machine and not on any other VMs I had with VS2013. I never knew what caused the problem to appear earlier this year. It drove me mad for so long that I actually got into the habit of closing all XAML documents when exiting VS2013.
Sometime in previous weeks I accidentally noticed the problem has gone away, just as mysteriously. The only possible significant change I can think of recently is that I installed VS2013 SP3. I had a look at KB2933779 <http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/2933779> but I can't see anything relevant. Who knows what's going on, but thank heavens! *Greg K*
