Continuing the hardware failure theme, this morning I used Windows Update to do the Win7 SP1 patch (64-bit), and have spent 100 minutes getting my system to boot again after the install's first reboot. The system restore (back to prior SP1) failed - "unspecified error" - and after a lot of frigg
