I am a one-man business and good candidate, but some things are unclear
from my reading so far. How do you actually get this "product"? I can't see
any kind of registration or whatever. Do I still have an MSDN live signin
like I do now with pages for downloads and licence key generation? It's
great

If your team is smaller than 5 people or you are an individual developer
you can use it. I use it for my personal use outside of my company. I think
it's a great product.

Corneliu.

Can I ask why would you upgrade from Community to Premium and why would I
buy the MSDN pack?

Ah thanks Steve, that's a good chart. Now I can see after they've shuffled
the subscriptions that the Pro level has everything I would normally need
(thank heavens!). Things like Office, SharePoint, and some more obscure
cloud and testing features I can live without. I'll drop back to Pro next

My guess is Professional would suit all those except people who have to
have the best of everything. I don't know anyone like that. ;)

The only thing I missed in Professional when moving from Ultimate is
CodeLens, but that is now moving to Professional as well.

Judging by those links and what I've read previously looks like the worst
place to be is Premium currently. Sure you get upgraded to Ultimate for
free but looks like the renewal is higher (when compared to the old Premium

Hi Folks, I have a few post today, so beware! Anyway ... the time of the
dreaded biannual event will arrive next month when my 2-year MSDN
subscription will expire. In May 2013 I purchased the Premium level via
Harris Technology for about $3600. A quote yesterday says it's now AU$4118
