I've recently run into some deployment problems on a local SharePoint
server. A bit of digging reveals a KB article (
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971521/) as a likely culprit. The article
says there is a hotfix download available, but either I am blind, the hotfix
is not available
supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended
to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only
to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may
