I have just heard on the grapevine that primips are
considered high risk at one regional birth centre and low risk unit. They
are only to take on women who "have proven themselves" with a previous normal
birth. As I am in a precarious position working in an affiliated hospital,

to be helping esp with posterior lies. There is another hospital trialling
it too. It has been used extensively in other Scandinavian countries I
think.
