just to add to the confusion... I brought a couple of dozen tapes with me back from the US in July that were NTSC. Then bought a new VCR to play them all. I found that I had to make a small adjustment to my TV set settings as well to get a good picture colour but now all is fine Kirsten - Orig

I don't know how this could be. I've never had a problem with taping US videos. I always do a back up copy of every video I buy as a just in case. After sometimes going through hassles to buy them I want to know that I always have a back up. The only thing I have found though is that some videos
