I had the luck to read this book in my first pregnancy over 10 years ago. As a result I spent the weeks leading up to the birth in excitement and awe (no fear whatsoever). I think it's a fantastic book, and I still read it now and then as a midwife, just to keep me grounded in the spirit of midwife
