Janine,   In our small Mid unit ( 300+ births P/A) we average one EL C/s birth per week. I cannot recall the last time we had a PPH following a birth by this method.   All women return to the ward with a Synt Infusion ( 40 u in 1000mls over 4 hours). Repeated PRN ( this is very rarely requir
