Letter to the SMH was published today, with the juicy bit about Anaesthetists incomes resting on injecting women left out!!! They did however call me and ask and I thought it was better going in edited than not at all!

Although I am in Israel, I did catch up with this
Interesting research - I wonder at the quality of the prenatal education
these women received - I know that the anaesthetists are very active in
promoting epidural use and have input into the classes - what are the women
being told?

Australian women do not have choice in maternity care or pain relief.
Despite research that shows the considerable benefits of deep water
immersion for pain relief, the vast majority Australian women are refused
