Some Obs I know use Dostinex to prevent lactation in mothers who don't want to breastfeed.It needs to be given on day1 or 2 post deliver .A dose of !mg is given stat and it totally stops any lactation .Dont Know about its safety or long term effects and its very expensive , about $75 for the

I have no further advice, but having being in that situation, I can say it was one of the most difficult things of the whole period (especially as I also had a small toddler that need lots of cuddles). It goes, but she will need lots of support. Debbie Slater Perth, WA
