Andreas,
I moved my config files to the local file system, and everything works
as expected. Thanks for the pointers. Now I have to start debugging why
this thing doesn't like NFS.

Since my /etc/libvirt/qemu directory is an NFS share VirtualDomain
sometimes complains it can't read the /etc/libvirt/qemu/test.xml file.
