Maybe it's wrong configured, but to be sure, I also have a call @ novell running, why "no_path_retry fail" is ignored. Usually a consequence of configuring multipathd to queue I/O indefinitely when all paths fail. Do "multipath -ll" and look for queue_if_no_path.
