Yes we have a section on how to use npm registry tarballs but that I don't see
guidelines mandate to use only npm registry tarball while packaging nodejs
module. Its just a guideline

I tried packaging two modules which are dependent on nodejs-wrappy and both
have failed at tests althought everything else seemed alright. When I built and
