I just spun up two new servers to do an inline replacement of the older
versions. (4.7 to 5.3.1) Everything is running fine but I am getting entries
into the exceptions log based on graphite/carbon from what I can see. It is the
same error on both servers and they only happen when you go to the
I managed to mess up my status dashboard page. I was cloning one
instance of a packetfence server and I didn't change the IP in the
carbon.conf file before starting it.
So now when I look at the pf1 dashboard I see pf2 data. Is there a way
to recover this, or at least to reset the data so pf1 sh
Hello Istvan,
We just discovered the exact same issue that you described, and have created a
patch.
You can either apply the maintenance branch or apply the patch directly.

Hi Dennis,
Yes, I wanted to point you to this solution, and forgot. I'm sorry.
So for you things work also, now? Nice, it's just so strange that

Brian,
There is no actual fix to be pushed in the maintenance since it affects
existing portal-profile which are not managed by the upgrade process…
We are working on a better way to handle thoses files, but for the moment,
you’ll have to take care of them manually.
Cheers!

Is this fix going to make the maintenance script soon? I have the same
issue with phone, carriers, and sponsor email showing regardless of source
selected.

Hi Louis,
I have to admit that I’m relatively new to this topic… but I’ve read lot’s of
stuff about it…:)
So I tried different configurations and found that only a combination of
linkUp/Down and 802.1x/MAB can satisfy our needs.
