In particular that can be stopped when hitting the esc key. You will see then a dead non reactive plasma screen that does not allow shutdown or logout any more, the task bar (with hiding effect activated) is staying hidden and is not reactive. A rollback to the previous version fixes the issue completely. I did report a bug on opensuse bugzilla (although I do not know how the agreements are).
