As far as I can see, libavformat56 and friends are not used by
anything. 57 is used by a lot of stuff and 58 is also used by some
things, but for some reason they don't use libavdevice58.
Does that sound plausible?
So I can delete the *56 packages in the correct order.

the frame-counter stops and the application is frozen.
I tried to disable desktop effects, but that doesn't help at all. The good
users have them activated anyway. I use openSUSE 12.1 + KDE.

Does this version work at all?
The clip-monitor is quite useless (most of the time just black) and adding new
videos repeatedly crashes the whole thing.
I'm using the nvidia drivers V295.
