I just updated the package in Packman to the new version 1.7.2 and
successfully tested it on my Tumbleweed system using snapshot 20221008!

glibc 2.36 reached openSUSE Tumbleweed in the 20220827 snapshot. The
message "Fatal error occurred, program will now exit." appears when
launching MakeMKV, and the program is unusable. This is the case for
both v1.17.1-1.5 and v1.17.1-1.6 in the PackMan repository.

I managed to find time to deep dive into the database and my older
backups.
I have restored the missing database entries in PMBS' database for the
MakeMKV package. Sources have not been harmed, and also the package
history including the package version has survived.

PMBS is apparently slightly broken since a few days:
osc undelete -m undelete Multimedia MakeMKV

weiterhin auf den packman.links2linux Servern angeboten werden wird.
Soweit ich das nachvollziehen kann, müssen um makemkv zum Laufen zu bringen,
sowohl die OpenSource als auch die ClosedSource Quellen geladen werden.

just updates it some days ago. Searching on links2linux also shows no
results http://packman.links2linux.org/search?scope=name=makemkv
