bangarang isn't part of openSUSE nor of Packman repository.
As far as I can see, it uses phonon to playback. Have you tried the
different phonon backends (gstreamer, xine or vlc)?

Did you try using phonon-backend-vlc or phonon-backend-xine instead of the
gstreamer pita?
