GENERAL PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The American Indonesia Exchange Foundation (AMINEF) is pleased to announce the availability of Fulbright scholarships to study in the United States for the 2006 2007 academic year. The primary focus of the Fulbright Program in Indonesia is to promote mutual understanding between the Republic of Indonesia and the United States of America through educational exchange and academic scholarship. Fulbright scholarships are available to Indonesian citizens with the appropriate qualifications as stipulated in the program descriptions listed below.
FULBRIGHT FACULTY DEVELOPMENT GRANT FOR NANGGROE ACEH DARUSSALAM (NAD) UNIVERSITY FACULTY
Fulbright Indonesia, The American Indonesian Exchange Foundation (AMINEF), is pleased to announce the availability of Fulbright Faculty development grants for post-graduate study in the United States. This program is specifically designed for university faculty members from institutions of higher learning located in NAD who wish to pursue a Master's degree at an American university. Faculty members from all disciplines are eligible for these awards.
Applicants should possess the following:
- a Sarjana (S1) degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 - leadership qualities - a good understanding of Indonesian and International cultures - a demonstrated commitment to one's chosen field of study - a minimum TOEFL score of 520 - a willingness to return to one's home institution upon program completion
How to Apply:
Candidates should complete a Fulbright program application form and return it to AMINEF by application deadline (see below). Application forms are available either by mail, in person at the AMINEF office (Gedung Balai Pustaka Building, Gunung Sahari Raya 4, Jakarta 10720) or via the AMINEF website at www.aminef.or.id. Please return completed applications to AMINEF office along with a copy of your most recent TOEFL score and at least one letter of referrence.
