You can distibute the Satellite Forms runtime free of charge.
If you use a server product with SF 5.2, you must use Enterprise
Intellisync Server, and the first 10 licenses are included with the EIS.
After that it is about $100 per user. It is not clear to me if the
developer can become a resell
Just a brief note. Satellite Forms released version 5.2 last week and it
is looking good. Write once, compile twice. This version is Palm OS
5.0 compliant and will create downloadable PDB or CDB files, plus
built-in support for Enterprise Intellisync Server. Runtime is 1/3 the
size of AppForge a
You can also take a look at Satellite Forms www.pumatech.com Version
5.2 out any day with enhanced Palm and PPC support. Supports C
extensions.

Thanks Matt. I have spent about 3-4 years on one app, and I am trying
to get up to speed in CW for extensions or a complete rewrite of my SF
app. A faster filter is an interesting idea. Since filtering is built
into SF, I had assumed it was already coded optimally in C.

subset of the records in a PDB table, which sounds like a coding issue -

If I can interject a question - I am coming from Satellite Forms, where
the system seems to slow after 10,000 records or so. My app will have
about 15,000 medical codes in one file, and one major reason to rewrite
in CW would be to bring all the files onto the Palm. Is this a
manageable number -
