Hello All,
We have an application which worked fine for all
versions of Palm OS 3.5 and above. But, recently we
ran into a strange situation where it wouldn't work
with the Treo 650 and that it was crashing on

Hello All,
We have a Palm product, which tries to talk to a
server every now using the NetLib. As long as the
connection is active, everything looks to be working
fine (may be shortly after a wireless hotsync or

Thanks Ben. That really answers some of my questions.
However, here is an interesting thing: Like I've previously mentioned in my
mails - when working with most of the service providers, I had to put a CRLF
between the URI and the HTTP/1.1 instead of a space. However, when working

Yes, that's exactly what the RFC also states. However, I tried to route a
post method from the IE6.0 to a TCP server, I'm hosting here and when I saw
the message format, it had a CRLF after the URI. That was the first
confusion. Then secondly, with certain devices reporting a HTTP/1.1 400 Bad
Gurus can explain why it would work with
certain devices in the way described in the RFC and not with the rest?
Thanks,

Thanks Mike, for your reply. The way we have coded it, it already opens a
socket, sends all the headers and the data (as much mentioned in the
content-length header) and then closes the socket. If it needs to send more
data, it opens another socket and goes through the same excercise. As it

customizations for the service providers, as I'm not sure, how to figure out
the service provider in the first place. I'ld greatly appreciate any help
in this regard.
