Drawing Bitmaps in source code

Hi, is there any way to draw bitmaps in the source code file of a project? I imagine there is, and example with source code would be nice, I would also like to know how I can assign different Grayscale and color values to each pixel. Thanks Mikel Anderson CEO Impact Studios
