On Palms our clients use we install localization software (Piloc) which
manages to hook Palm OS and causing and Hebrew field, label, butt
or you could read one of any 100 signatures added on the bottom of forum

Try dropping the Glyph size to 10 (remove the top line), and then you will be
able to make it all proportional.
And if I am correct, Hebrew glyphs by default are better off in 10 than 11.

If you're using CodeWarrior, you can get the PilRC plugin here
http://www.calliopeinc.com/pilrcplugin.html. If you're using CodeWarrior
R8, the plugin has ALREADY been installed. Don't forget to add the .rcp
file type to CodeWarrior's File Mappings, and bind it to PilRC as a TEXT
You can define a font file and then create a custom font.
A sample (the tree sample) and font files can be found at www.vfdide.com to
illustrate how it can be done.

Seems people use custom bitmap fonts to do that. Another way I was thinking of
is to get some sort of font engine (eg. freetype) to display vector fonts. But
