Aside from what I've been reading about the various GPS Springboard modules
for the Handspring, I was wondering if anyone out here has some helpful
opinions or experience with any of them. Any strong likes or dislikes for
the GPS modules that are out there?

I have the Magellan GPS Companion -- which I purchased only because I found
an open-box version at Best Buy for approximately $100. There are a couple
of nitpicky things that I don't like about it; but nothing that can't be
solved by spending a few bucks on some software.
