Hej,

I am currently enrolled in a project targeted at different PDA's (PalmOS and
WindowsCE) which is my debut to PDA programming too.
I have searched the net for open source document/html viewers (and found
"Plucker" which seems to be really nice) which I want to use as a starting
point for a multi platform dynamic formular application (the shown formular
changes with the data which is inserted and scored by a scoring algorithm).
However I was unable to find a open source project wich targets more than
one PDA platform...

- Does anyone know if there are multi (PDA) platform open source projects
(in general and for document/html viewers)?

- Has anyone used AvantGo's POD sdk for a project (which seems to be
targeted at multiple paltforms but isn't open source and looks like a
comercial tool)?

- What are your experiences with interpreted languages like Casl? Are those
languages able to tackle broad problems or should I concentrate on "bare to
the metal" c sdk's?

Please excuse the broadness of my questions and the fact that I am on a Palm

centerd mailinglist while asking questions about WinCE also. Till now I
gathered theoretical knowledge only and I am desperately in the need for
practical/pragmatic advice.

Thanks and greetings

Bjoern Knafla
