We have customer who wants his palm to only run our palm app when he turns on
his palm and does not want access to any other feature.
Is is possible?

I would assume that it is, there are 3rd party app launchers. They simply
take over for the default launcher in some way. Im guessing you can make
your app take over the device in the same way. I dont know how to do this,
but im sure its possible.

can even set your app the default application after a soft reset:
