I've got the first edition, and it's my favorite PalmOS programming
book, bar none
I have looked at the second edition and own the first edition. So my
comments mostly refer to the first edition. I will probably buy the second
edition sometime.
The second edition was not out when I needed to start Palm programming. I
checked-out several other books from my public library and
I have had the "Palm OS Programming Bible, 2nd Ed." for about a month now and find it
very useful. The book does not specifically list the API's but deals with topics on a
feature by feature basis. Differences between OS version are explained.
I am unable to compare the book with any other Palm
