What do you mean Open the netlib?
It is not so easy to debug the application while using the modem (to
tell you truth I don't know how to do).
Probably the best method is using Poser with a real modem connected to the
host PC, in this way you are using the PalmOS TCP/IP Stack.

opening Netlib when the line is busy and
You could create a trap patch for MdmDial and snag its return code when you call the
original trap.

netlib should return an error code to you. Why don't you just try it
and see what happens?
