The binary has been > both packed and run on OSX 10.8. Sorry, I can't reproduce this on OSX 10.10.3 with system Perl (5.18.2) and latest PAR::Packer, PAR, Module::ScanDeps. What versions are you using? Does this also happen for a "hello world" example, e.g. pp -o hello.exe -e 'print "hello\n"' In any case, could you show the output of unzip -l packed_executable of a packed_executable showing the problem.
