Hello everyone,
I need to visualize Toughreact (an extension of Tough2) results with paraview.
Anyone had a shot at it?
I think that I need to convert these files to tecplot format for it to be
readable by paraview. Anyone had to do this? Any information will be
appreciated.

Hi Utkarsh,
Sorry for the inconvenience. I had the 3.10.0 version still around but with
version 3.10.1 everything is fine. Already added a note to the bug report.

Florian,
I could not reproduce the issue with 3.10.1 or the latest ParaView
build from git-master on linux. Has anyone else been able to reproduce
this on Windows?

Hi Utkarsh,
This is excellent! I have been putting quite some time in a work around, but
is was making things complicated, so I hope this patch helps.
If I find a bug, does it mean that I can put it to this
paraview.org/Bugside? Because I have two more bugs (at least, that's
what I suspect)
:
1)
I forgot to mention that that one only has 2 time steps. I have a sample
one with 4 time steps too if you need it.

Yes, it's in /Data/WindBladeReader. Select the test1_topo.wind
file.

The problem is indeed in the reader. I've attached a patch for the
issue. It will be committed into git-master soon.

Ah, it's possible that the view has issues with multiple output ports,
I don't think I ever verified that. I forget, is there any small
dataset I can test this with already in ParaView (or where can I get
it) ?

Hi,
I have recently become interested in comparing different time steps using the
windblade reader. One approach involves a 3D comparative view. After loading
my .wind data set, I created a 2X1 Comparative View. In the Comparative View
Inspector, I clicked the "+" symbol when "Time" was selec
As do the manta and streaming plugins.
Be sure to see http://paraview.org/Wiki/Representations_and_Views for
an introduction to ParaView's overall rendering architecture.

Yes, your suggestions seems very useful, since the arrows (and discs) can be
scaled by the magnitude of the angular velocity. Thanks!

Hi,
The prism plugin has a custom view and representation. You can also look at
the GUIView example too.

Hi,
Does anyone have any example view plugins? I am struggling to know where to
start with a new 3D view with a different representation. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks,

Dear all,
is there a way to import ansys results in paraview? Apparently the
.rst file format in paraview does not correspond to the one in ansys.
If it is not compatible, do you know where to find an available
converter?
Thanks a lot
Matteo
