Amit,
We are indeed working on a updated version of the user's manual. I'll
make a note to cover this in it.

Aha, that did the trick, thanks a bunch Utkarsh.
The following link is the top search result for "paraview texture", which is
not relevant for new versions. http://paraview.org/Wiki/ParaView:Texture
Perhaps simple steps as follows would be great to add on this page for others
stumbling like me
Hi,
I found myself facing a problem i didn`t expected
I am working on Windows 7-x64 with the binaries from kitware
I am supposed to adapt paraview to my 4-sided cave
The cave is setup in this way
LEFT | FRONT | RIGHT | FLOOR
=
1920x1
A fix has been pushed to the ParaView git/master. Please feel free to
give that a try. Thanks

Just a quick follow-up update in case it helps the next person who run into the
similar problem: I have fixed this problem by setting the option to NOT use
system zlib (which does not contain gzopen64 symbol), so it can build zlib from
VTK thirdparty directory which will contain gzopen64 symbol.
As a workaround, you can always manually edit the color table by
clicking the "gear" button next the color editor widget that will show
up a table widget allowing you to edit the values (Image attacged).

Amit,
I think you're just forgetting to switch to advanced mode on the
properties panel (or search for "texture") (refer to
http://www.kitware.com/blog/home/post/491). You'll see the "Texture"
combo-box to load texture under the "Miscellaneous" group. Image

Thomas,
Is is possible to share a sample dataset (and maybe even the state
file you're using)? That would help identify the problem.
Thanks

Thanks Alan.
Hey Kitware, do you have an .avi file based off a vtk file that works in Mac
OS X Mavericks and Powerpoint?
