Hello,
I downloaded the ParaView-3.10.0-RC1-Linux-x86_64.tar.gz and try to
tar xzf it. But it seems to be broken: gzip: not in gzip format. Power
Archiver 2007 (Win) was also not able to unzip the file.
Could the file have been corrupted?
Thanks,
Florian

Hello,
I’m running paraview 3.8.1 under linux using 8 cpus loading a
reconstructed openfoam case with about 13GB per timestep (we have just
two time steps, start 0 and result 1). The machine on which pvserver
runs has 16 cpus and 70GB RAM, but pvserver uses just a small fraction
of the ram.

Hello,
is it possible to limit the range of time steps paraview is working on? For
example a filter that narrows the range from time step 100 to 1000 and all
subsequent filters will just see and operate on this time range?
Thanks,
Florian

Hello,
I have a crash similar to this one:
http://www.paraview.org/pipermail/paraview/2012-February/023797.html
I had produced a couple of line charts using Plot Over Line, saved
that as a state und now I try to load that state.
Is there anything known about this bug? I'm using the Paraview 64b
oad it. Does that work? If so, we'd have narrowed the

Hello,
I have a bunch of files that are (kind of) csv format:
0 0.12
0.5 0.1342
1 1.426
...
They are named with the extension .dat. Is there a way to use the CSV reader
to open that file? If I try to open I'm only offered three choices of other
readers.
Thanks,
Florian

that :-)

Hello,
I user Paraview to postprocess openfoam CFD data. A frequent use case is to
compare two datasets that have minor variations (geometry, mesh, boundary
condition).
Currently I find myself loading both datasets, splitting the 3D view and
linking the camera. For processing the data I need t
Hello,
can I make a slice using a non-infinite plane? Usually a slice always spans the
entire domain. Can I limit the area of a slice? e.g. if I want to use the
integrate variables filter to integrate only on a part of the domain.

Hello,
I have a VTK I want to plot/analyze in paraview. It does not really contain
valid geometry information as far as I can tell, so I try to plot it using
the Line Chart View.
I can watch the data using the SpreadSheet View but as soon as I change the
tab to the Line Chart non of the source
Hello,
in recent paraview 4.2.0 I am unable to find how to enable the parallel
