[Paraview] About integration upon a boundary

Dear all, I am simulating a circular pipe flow, (a 2D axial symmetrical model), and my current job is to estimate the mass flow rate and thermal energy input at the inlet and the outlet. I am curious on using the integration filter provided in ParaView. How do I apply an integration upon a boundar

Hello Stephen, I have the same problem. I use SALOME to produce mesh, in which I define groups for CFD solvers, such as Code_Saturne or Elmer. Thereby, I don't know the ID values which correspond to the different boundaries. What software do you use? Thanks for your advices. Best regards, Wayne

Hi, I am interested in this ParaViewWeb; is ParaViewWeb software based on Flex and would let people to use ParaView over a browser without installing it? I Googled it but didn't find any information about it. Can you give a instruction page? Thanks. Best regards, http://code-saturne.blogspot.com

Hello Aston, Download the latest package and unpack to anywhere you want, then it is okay to use. Although this is an old post, http://code-saturne.blogspot.com/2009/07/installation-of-paraview-361-on-ubuntu.html, hope it helps. Good luck :) Best regards, http://code-saturne.blogspot.com/ On 1

[Paraview] How to repeat a 1 deg segment to produce larger angles

2011-05-17 Thread Wayne Wu
Dear all, I am doing an axial symmetrical model by rotating a 2D geometry along the circumferential direction by only 1 degree. This is sufficient for the modelling; however I expect to represent the modelling results in ParaView with 10 to 20 degrees, which would be larger and better for 3D prese

Hello, I am required to export VRML objects from ParaView using Python scripts. I followed the examples at http://www.paraview.org/pipermail/paraview/2010-June/017989.html to complete the script, and outputted a .vrml file. I need to use meshlab to check the file; it seems that meshlab can only
