I was using Paraview stable 3.14.1 on Mountain Lion until I had problems
with the Python Calculator, related with numpy. I then searched and found

There's a known issue with Mac OSX nightly binaries. They currently
don't work on Mountain Lion. We'll be tracking that down soon. The
binaries should then work on Mountain Lion as well, once the issue is
addressed in the very near future.
