Hi Gena,
I don't know about the font, but the point 2 is definitely a bug.
Although, for 3, I think this is intended. If you want to Reset the
display, you just need to click on the "Reset Camera" button that we
usually use for 3D view.
Thanks for your feedback,

I recommend both. A bug tracker item and an email to the list
referring to the bug entry.
That way it gets noticed immediately (mailing list) and persists if it
can't be resolved in the short term (bug tracker).

For the vtk level changes yes:

and

For the ParaView level changes, there is none yet.
The release notes for both VTK and ParaView will be useful, once they
are completed.
These are major releases
Hmm. Does this mean major code changes for my filters? This seems like
a conversation that I was tracking over the summer? Is there a wiki
page on the major changes?

Think of it as 4.0.-1.
The structure is completely different from 3.14, so it isn't 3.16.
However, we don't want to call it 4.0, since we are waiting on one
feature, and because it needs thorough beta testing because so much
has changed.
2.9 was the same idea. That was the last tk based paraview
For those that forgot to "play along at home" could you fill in the
gap between ParaView 3.14 and 3.98? Seems like a very large jump in
version numbers.
I am sure I just missed something on the list. Going to check the wiki
